The encounters with people began at the Fußbauernhof even before 1960. As the Rose apartment in Libdinghisle was empty, it was rented out during the summer months. Guests became regulars and friends. There was also a small pool at the end of the 1960s.

Eight years later, Gustav Schmid (senior) died suddenly. This was a great loss. Income from agriculture and forestry as well as a worker had to be compensated. The wife Klara Schmid and her 4 children were open to people and change, so she rented out a room in the farmer’s family home. From this point on, the journey of full board began. At the beginning of the 70s, another room was added. Meals were served in the farmhouse parlor or in the kitchen. In 1978, the farm passed to Gustav (Junior) and Hedwig Schmid. At this time, the family and guests lived in one apartment. In 1986, the Libdinghisle was extended and the Tulpe apartment was added. In the meantime, the family grew and the third generation lived in the farmhouse apartment until 2005. Little by little, apartments were enlarged or completely rebuilt, such as our Wagenschöpfle in 1993. In 1994 the active dairy business was discontinued and shortly afterwards the room rental with full board. In 2001, following the construction of the new pool, the sixth apartment, Sonnenblume, was built, bringing the farm to its current state.
